H&W Publishes White Paper on Coronavirus and New York Workers' Compensation
Many of our clients have had questions regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and whether the contracture of COVID-19 by an employee is compensable in New York State. Yesterday, we published a white paper that provides an analysis of relevant case law and Board decisions to assist in determining whether or not to controvert a claim for COVID-19, or whether, once controverted, a claim is likely to be established or disallowed.
