Ms. Ochs-Hepworth has been committed to representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators under the Workers’ Compensation Law since 2013. Her experience includes attending thousands of depositions, hearings, and trials before the Workers’ Compensation Board, preparing appeals to the Board and Appellate Division, Third Department, and negotiating and drafting Section 32 settlements to bring claims to a final resolution. She has presented on a variety of topics to employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators at in-house client seminars and private CLE events.
Ms. Ochs-Hepworth takes pride in her reputation as a zealous and tenacious advocate for her client in each case. Although she has litigated a wide array of workers’ compensation topics, she has developed a special sub-focus in areas of workers’ compensation fraud and social media investigations, novel Section 35(3) extreme hardship litigation, and other complex legal matters.
Ms. Ochs-Hepworth is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association.
