Ms. Washington devotes her practice to workers’ compensation law. She defends insurance carriers and employers in a wide range of compensation claims.
Ms. Washington received her Bachelor of Arts degree, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, in Political Science and Legal Studies with a minor in Sociology.
While in Law School, Ms. Washington served as a third year article editor for the Public Interest Law Journal. Ms. Washington also participated in Boston University’s Civil Litigation Clinic and Intramural Negotiation Competition.
During law school, she interned with the Honorable Ojetta Rogeriee Thompson of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and in-house with First Niagara Financial Group Inc.
Before joining Hamberger & Weiss, Ms. Washington clerked for one year with the Massachusetts Superior Court.
She is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County.
Outside the office, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family.
