Ms. Markert joined the firm in 2003 as an associate.  She appeared regularly before the Workers’ Compensation Board in contested matters.  More recently, her work for the firm has focused on Workers’ Compensation Law in the realm of writing applications to the Board, Appellate practice and legal research for clients to assist in the evaluation of a claim and/or application of defenses.  Outside of work, Mrs. Markert enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, gardening, and running.   She is also admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.
