Mr. Durwin represents employers, insurance companies, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution. He represents a wide variety of clients including cities and municipalities, large and small insurance companies, and self-insured retail employers. With an eye toward zealous advocacy, Mr. Durwin strives to represent his clients’ best interests at every stage of litigation. As a New York City and Long Island transplant with civil construction litigation and high-volume workers’ compensation experience, he is comfortable working at a quick pace while attending to detail. While in law school, Mr. Durwin was the Medical Malpractice Project Director at Hofstra’s Law, Logic, and Technology Lab, at which he managed a team of students and published empirical legal research. During his summer breaks from law school, he conducted and published social psychology research at Harvard, Brown, Boston College, and MIT.
