Mr. Musial is a zealous workers' compensation defense advocate whose interest in the practical application of the law began in law school through experiences in various moot courts, mock trials, a clinic, and an internship with Judge Jean Doerr at the Public Employment Relations Board. He was recognized for both his legal writing and oral advocacy in multiple moot courts and believes his internship has given him valuable insight into how ALJs reach decisions on difficult cases.
While he began practicing Workers' Compensation defense at the Special Funds Conservation Committee, he quickly sought a position at Hamberger and Weiss to expand into more complicated areas of Workers’ Compensation Law. Upon beginning his tenure here, Mr. Musial immediately began handling full hearing calendars, performing medical depositions, finalizing memos and appeals on various legal issues, drafting Section 32 Settlement Agreements, and interacting directly with claims representatives to advise them on the handling of their more tedious claims. He looks forward to developing closer relations with the clients he serves here at Hamberger and Weiss.
Mr. Musial is a member of the New York State Bar and Erie County Bar Associations.
